Trumbull, Ohio, had the biggest over-the-year percentage decrease in employment,
-8.6 percent in December 2009; nationally, employment declined by 4.1 percent.
Douglas, Colo., had the largest increase in average weekly wages in the fourth
quarter of 2009, 26.1 percent, compared with a national increase of 2.5 percent.

Employment Situation
July 02, 2010
Total nonfarm payroll employment declined by 125,000 in June, and the
unemployment rate edged down to 9.5 percent. The decline in payroll
employment reflected a decrease (-225,000) in the number of temporary
employees working on Census 2010. Private sector payroll employment
edged up by 83,000.
