trends and changes related to the automobile industry and society
at the international, federal, state and local levels.
CAR conducts
industry research, develops new methodologies, forecasts industry
trends, advises on public policy, and sponsors multi-stakeholder
communication forums.

Affiliates Program
To fulfill its mission, CAR maintains strong relationships with industry, government agencies, universities, research institutes, labor organizations, and other major participants in the international automotive community. CAR launced an Affiliates Program to strengthen those industry ties and build support of ongoing service activities.

The Automotive Communities Program is a unique, non-profit, community-industry partnership administered by the Center for Automotive
Research.
