Hi All,
Caprice32 is one of the best emulator of the Amstrad CPC home computer series running on Windows and Unix, written by Ulrich Doewich. This emulator faithfully imitates the CPC464, CPC664, and CPC6128 models (see caprice32 project)

or one joystick + the caanoo pad), let's have fun with Ikari warriors !
- Overclock support and default cpu clock when exiting the emu
- global disk / snap files location
- Rom file selector bug fix
- New title icon from Mospaedax
How to use it ? Everything is in the README file.
This package is under GPL Copyright, read COPYING file for more information about it.
Here is a full working binary version :

Just stand the Move controllers vertically on the base. You can recharge your controllers, without having to plug cables into them, or your PlayStation 3 Console. This Charging Station is powered by an AC adapter, which means nothing will have to occupy a USB ports on your console in order to recharge all your gear.
Features :

Charges both the Move navigation controller and Move motion controller on one easy to use base
Quickly charges the internal rechargeable batteries
Know when they are fully charged with the included LED Indicator light
Stylishly keeps your controllers Organized and out of the way while not in use

Weight: 144.0g
Package Included :
1 x Quadruple Port Charging Station for PlayStation 3 Move Controllers
1 x AC Charger
Quality/Usability : To refresh and update the PlayStation 3 (and to compete), Sony released a controller similar to Nintendo's Wiimote and Nunchuk for the Wii known as the PlayStation Move and Navigation controllers. Like all wireless controllers, they operate on battery whether it be disposable or rechargeable. The most economical would be rechargeable. Wit the Move and Navigation controller, the batteries are not removable. They are built in to the controller. You can charge the controller via USB cable but that is a lot of USB cables (1 for each controller, up to 4). A better solution would be to use a charging station.
The Quad Charging Port Station for the PS Move and Navigation controller does just that. It charges up to four controllers at one time. Each controller sites into their little charging port. The two front ports are for Navigation controllers and the two rear ports are for the Move controllers. You can charge each controller separately, charge them in pairs or charge all four of them at one time.
The charging station is made of plastic. Compared to some other charging stations on the market, the station is sturdy but the plastic felt cheap. This isn't a bad thing as I expected it from PEGA but all that matters is that the product works and does what it's suppose to do...which it does. I was able to fully charge my controllers within 2 hours. When placed onto the station, there are LEDs for each port. This lets you know when the controller are charging. It would have been nice if the charging station discharged any remaining battery in the controller and performed a full charge.
The Quad Charging Port Station comes with a AC power adapter (US). If you live in a different country, you will need a converter/adapter to fit your countries wall outlet. I like the fact that it does not require a USB port to get its power in order to charge the controllers.
Conclusion : Overall, the Quad Charging Port Station PS Move Navigation does what it is suppose to do in charging the Move and Navigation controllers. The station plugs into a wall outlet but the station does not deplete any remaining battery before fully charging the controllers. I personally like to recondition my rechargeable batteries as this pro-longs the battery life whether it be camera, cellphone or any electronics. So in order to do so, I have to play until the battery are completely dead. It would of been a nice feature as I can stop playing when I want, station depletes any remaining battery and will begin to charge when its completely dead. Unfortunately, if you use any silicone skins for your Move controllers, you will have to take them off the controller or at least the bottom since it will not fit in the port.

I missed this one over the weekend. I always like to keep up to date on the latest fan games, hacks and happenings of the Sonic fan community. Here is another big project coming from the forums of Sonic Retro by a community member by the name of Hez. This game has had an astonishing 12 year development cycle!
Aside from possessing the Duke Nukem Forever curse this one has one of the most beautiful engines I've seen and it almost perfectly replicates the classic 16-bit Sonic sidescrollers from the early 1990s. The game kind of gives me a CD/3 amp;K vibe from the few levels I've played of it so far and it's nice that your given the freedom to play as Sonic, Tails or Knuckles (the only playable characters that really matter to retro fans). Be warned though, its a bit of a toughy and a few over at Sonic Retro have complained about this already. There's an ongoing argument whether its merely difficult or a case of bad level design. Personally I think its tough in a good way and since fan games are largely directed towards the hardcore fans in the first place then it should be created with a bit of challenge for its intended audience of veterans.
Anyways here's the link for the full version.

There also exists some mirrors in the release thread
I'm also going to try and host a mirror on DCEmu here as well once the first revision of the final game comes out in a week or so.

A leaked internal Microsoft video allegedly provides some hints as to what the company's Windows Gaming eXperience (WGX) team is attempting to do. The video, dug up by ZDnet, showcases what appears to be several concepts that could cross between Windows, Xbox and mobile platforms. The video is PC-focused, but features Microsoft's Avatars moving around screens using Kinect functionality, while interacting with social games and media, along with the Avatar Marketplace.
A now-removed LinkedIn job posting reportedly described the function of the WGX Team as creating a "new world-class gaming platform" to define "the next generation of Windows and Web gaming to 300 million potential customers."
According to ZDnet, the video was dated May 2010 -- in this world of corporate ADD and division restructuring, take nothing of what you see in the clip as the gospel of Windows future according to Microsoft. Just remember how that whole Kinect object scanning videoturned out, or didn't turn out ...

Somehow, Square Enix seems to have been convinced to actually release its old games on PSOne Classics. Last week's Parasite Eve is being followed with another gem out of the company's back catalog this week: Legend of Mana.
The sidequest-heavy, somewhat open-ended Legend, which allows players to use "Artifacts" to create and then explore in-game areas, may not have been as well-received as the SNES's Secret of Mana, but it's certainly not a bad game either. And it's much better suited for PSOne Classics release anyway, since it was a PlayStation game.

How does one pay tribute to such a great console as the late Sega Dreamcast? With coolswag, of course. To celebrate the company's final console -- and the release of Dreamcast Collection -- Sega manufactured a limited run of the title's soundtrack on vinyl. This snow-white record was intended only for Australia, but we got our hands on a few to give to you (because we kinda, y'know, like you). Some really sharp Dreamcast hoodies were also made. They're zip-up, with orange hood lining and draw strings, plus an embroidered Dreamcast logo on the front and the Dreamcast swirl above the words "Still Thinking ... " on the back.
Four lucky readers will win a package consisting of one soundtrack vinyl, one sweatshirt and one copy of Dreamcast Collection for Xbox 360. Head past the break for the full contest rules, and good luck!

Nintendo 3DS News
The latest generation of gaming gadgets do some nifty tricks, and one of the niftiest they might perform is assisting the realm of medicine. Microsoft's Kinect sounded like a candidate for surgery, and this month real-life surgeons have actually put it to use -- Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Canada rigged the Xbox 360 depth camera to its medical imaging computer. Now, doctors don't have to scrub out to manipulate an MRI scan, or even appoint a peon to the task -- rather, they simply raise their bloodied glove, and dive into the digital imagery with a wave of a dextrous hand.
Meanwhile, the American Optometric Association has expanded upon its initial praise of Nintendo's 3DS, saying the autostereoscopic 3D handheld "could be a godsend for identifying kids under 6 who need vision therapy." Though Nintendo's warning labels had originally incited a bit of fear among parents, the organization says that kids who can't experience the 3DS to its full potential may have amblyopia (or other vision disorders) that can be more easily treated the earlier it's caught, though one doctor interviewed bythe Associated Press contends that kids with amblyopia may not know what they're missing to begin with -- so don't necessarily expect a panacea, folks.

We're filling the time between now and the NGP's holiday season release the best way we know how: by hunting down yet more information about it. Andrew House, the man in charge of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, has delivered the latest tidbit in an interview with MCV, where he states unequivocally that every game on the next PlayStation Portable will be available to buy as a download. Notably, he also expresses Sony's desire to have simultaneous distribution in both digital and physical channels, but that sounds a lot less concrete than his promise that every game will be downloadable. Digital-only games also figure prominently in Andrew's vision of the NGP's future, as he expects them to diversify choice for consumers alongside the big time titles like Uncharted. To learn more about Sony's replacement of UMDs with flash memory and the reasoning behind the PlayStation Suite, follow the source link below for the full interview.
