ATLANTA, GA. #8212; March 14, 2011 - Centrafuse, the developer of Centrafuse Auto, a leading connected car application, announced that Don Courvisier has joined the Company #8217;s board of directors.
Don has been serving on the Centrafuse Board of Advisors since April of 2010, following a distinguished career in the automotive and consumer electronics industries. Don retired from Sony Electronics in June of 2009 where he served for 14 years as the Global VP/GM and as a Corporate Officer for the Sony Automotive Entertainment Solutions Group. Prior to Sony, Don spent 5 years with Harman Automotive as the Director of Global Marketing and 15 years with The General Electric Major Appliance Business group in various leadership positions. Don has an undergraduate degree in English and an MBA in Economics and Marketing and is widely known in the automotive industry for his operational and leadership development expertise.

Centrafuse, a leading developer of software tools for embedded devices, announced that its open automotive infotainment framework, Centrafuse Auto, is featured on Visteon's C-Beyond vehicle that began touring the world in May 2010. Centrafuse software is used to operate and control 6 unique in-vehicle displays simultaneously, on a single CPU. Functionality includes a virtual driver’s display (cluster), multiple infotainment screens (front and rear) and multiple input methods (voice, touch pad and button / knob). Visteon decided to work with Centrafuse for this vehicle based on its ability to rapidly build, deploy and reuse infotainment and content assets. Its open architecture enables the integration of content from a variety of disparate sources onto a simple, consistent user experience.
