Grub | Help crawl it all
Search is part of the fundamental infrastructure of the Internet. And, it is currently broken.
Why is it broken? It is broken for the same reason that proprietary software is always broken: lack of freedom, lack of community, lack of accountability, lack of transparency. Here, we will start to change all that.
Grub started back in 2000 with a simple concept of distributing part of the search process pipeline: crawling. In a way, we were a bit ahead of our time, but our intention then was what it is now. We want to help fix search.
Now, with the help of community members and Open Source developers our time has come again. Come be part of something greater. Come help us change the World.
Our server is temporary offline due to maintenance work on it. We want apologize for problems.
Grub Next Generation upload server 0.8.5 released

Next beta version of Grub Next Generation C# upload server is available. Changes since last release (0.8.4):
- fixed bug with setting server options via remote control
- fixed bug with wrong encode URL for GET requests
- some code optimization
You can download source code and zip compressed server from project page.
Grub Next Generation upload server is standalone, configurable server written in C# and Mono.

GrubNG statistics - Drupal module ver 0.2 released

Releases
Second alpha release of GrubNG statistics - Drupal module is available. Changes since last release (0.1):
- redesigned database schema
- added support for User Points module
- added index (Solr) statistics
- fixed bug with show recent activity of selected user

GrubNG statistics - Drupal module is module for Drupal 6.x for integrate Grub project with Drupal. It is this same version which is currently used at grub.org

Today first version of GrubNG statistics - Drupal module was released. This is this same version which is used on our page at this moment. This module was tested only with Drupal 6.x version. Feel free to test it and help us to improve it. All comments are welcome.

Forth alpha release of Grub Next Generation database tool is available. Changes since last release (0.3):
- fixed bug with add URL's to database
- fixed bug with delete URL's from Solr
- added quiet mode (no output from program)
- added information about progress of work
- some code optimization
