Some of the Authoritys most important work, staff training, takes place unseen by the public. Training is vital to maintaining the quality of the information delivered on this website. The goal of clerks and Authority staff is that public records are created in a consistently accurate manner. Starting with the creation of Indexing Standards in 1998, the Authority has conducted many live training events to strengthen indexing skills. In addition, we strive to develop better methods of training.
To meet the need for continuous training across the state, the Authority has launched several online electronic training programs. This effort started with training on deed indexing and notary duties, and will include on-line tests. Clerks are embracing these new e-tools to help maintain and improve their staff quality and to train new staff members. The new e-training tools never get tired and never have schedule conflicts. They are available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, to improve the systems that you rely upon. We want our subscribers to know that the Authority invests in training as a means of providing accurate and reliable information to the public.
David Williams
Executive Director
Were proud to feature Beverly Logan who has served as Clerk of Superior Court of Clarke County since 1993. Beverly was born and raised in Athens and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1982. Following graduation, she joined the staff of Athens First Bank Trust and later received her Paralegal Certification. Outside the courthouse, she enjoys gardening, reading, walking and raising
her dogs. When asked about serving as clerk, she responded I enjoy people, working with them, helping them, serving them. I also enjoy preserving our history by being the record keeper.

The Authority will be implementing important system
upgrades from midnight until 3:00am each night this week starting on 9/29 and
concluding 10/1. These upgrades are intended to enable real time failover of all
website functions to an offsite disaster recovery data center in the event of a
catastrophic failure of the primary facility. During these upgrades, access to the
Authority search system MAY be temporarily interrupted as various tests are performed.
It is the goal of the Authority to limit these interruptions as much as possible,
and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
House Bill 1055 became law on May 12, 2010, requiring Clerks of Superior Court in Georgia to charge the public a fee of $0.50 per page printed/copied of certain public records. Prior to May 12, the statutory fee for printing such documents was $0.25 per page.
The document images on this website are provided by the Georgia Superior Court Clerks on a strictly voluntary basis. The use of the images by the GSCCCA is governed by an agreement with the Superior Court Clerks stipulating that the GSCCCA must charge the same price for prints as clerks do locally in order to make up for the revenue lost at the courthouse. The GSCCCA DOES NOT RETAIN any image print revenue collected on this website. Rather, all print revenue is returned to the county where the document images originated.
With the passing of House Bill 1055, the GSCCCA will be increasing the fee associated with images printed on this website from $0.25 per page to $0.50 per page. This change will be effective MAY 24, 2010.
