Welcome to the Hoedown Bands Website.
Catering mainly for complete novices, this highly regarded barn dance and hoedown band come under its various names, old and new. The band comes complete with Caller to chat everyone through the dances (and the more mistakes in the dancing, the more hilarious it all becomes).
Have a go only if you fancy it:-

The wonderful rhythms, and capable abilities of the hoe down band, appeals throughout all the generations, from young children through to senior citizens, and all the age groups in between.
Surrounding the hoe down dancing, with all the tunes involving the Caller, the band enjoys incorporating other types of instrumental and vocal numbers, – often finishing off an event with rock ‘n’ roll or other genres of musical styles . This allows dancers to let down their hair and go “freestyle”.
During a pause in proceedings in the evening, the band provides background music on CDs. Their CD Player is connected to their PA system. Some organisers like to provide their own special CDs for the interval. Hence, there is never a time when an event is without music.

Costs are rarely prohibitive and there are no charges
or obligations for provisional bookings.
