Farm Fresh Donates $300,000 to CHKD Cancer Program
On Tuesday, May 22, Farm Fresh supermarkets, based in Hampton Roads, donated $300,000 to the CHKD cancer program. More than $210,000 of that was raised through the 2012 Farm Fresh Round Up campaign, in which customers were asked to round up their grocery total to the next dollar. The Farm Fresh Charitable Foundation rounded up the in-store collection total to make the $300,000 donation possible.
Drowning Lead Cause of Kids' Accidental Death, Says CDC
