FROM THE CEO!
We have made it through another month, yeah! It's spring whether you like it or not, it appears most of the cold weather has left us and now we are looking for something to do. Not to fear, there will be plenty of events going on, and because this month we celebrate St. Patricks Day, it's all about the green beer, oops, I mean beverages. We are still counting down to AvA's 10th birthday. Romano is coming up with some really fantastic ideas for our celebration event, so keep a look out for that. Also, everyone needs to check the forums, there's a new section for "event" ideas, and there's always some interesting information going on in there, especially if you have a question, post it there, in the proper thread, and with the real world, and VATSIM experience in this VA, I'm sure you'll receive a very timely answer. One last thing, we are working on some very exciting changes for the new year, we'll keep you posted, but I'm sure everyone will like it.
Updates
AvA is still the premier VA out there, however, February has come to a close, meaning no more CAT FREE flying, except of course if you read the next paragraph.
Featured Destination
March's featured destination is the Savannah International Airport, Savannah, Georgia, USA, (KSAV). As always, you may fly FROM/TO this airport from anywhere in any of the AVA (book a flight), or oneworld codeshare aircraft (as long as that aircraft is used on that flight on the timetable). Just make sure you put in your comments and edit your pirep comments to read AVA FEATURED FLIGHT. Note that the featured flight is a CAT FREE flight! If there is a destination that you would like featured, send your request to Rich Cole bod2 (at) joinava.org
