Welcome to Lapu-Lapu City
Warmest and sincerest greetings to all the people of Lapu-Lapu City! A new day has come to our beloved City of Lapu-Lapu. We are now ably represented in Congress with our very first lone district Congressman recently elected. Coupled with the City’s transformation into a highly urbanized city accomplished through the previous administration of former Mayor Boy Radaza. This capped the nine year journey of our city towards maturity. Today, we can finally say… we have arrived! Together with your Congressman and elected City Officials we strive for a Lapu-Lapu City where socio-economic growth is geared towards total sustainability. A city wherein every ordinary citizen can feel the positive effects of its economic growth. A healthy haven for tourism, business, investment, residence and recreation, with empowered citizens living in a safe, clean and peaceful environment conducive to multi-sectoral interaction, good governance, and sustainable development within its political jurisdiction including its municipal waters. With the continued support of the Oponganon, I believe that we can achieve our dreams and aspirations. Let us take a step together towards the future, let us all move forward as one people. Mabuhi ang Oponganon! Thank you and Godbless! Mayor Paz Radaza City Mayor
