Personalized NESA Pocket Cards
There are several reasons to become a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
For example, receiving Eagle Scout Magazine four times per year will enable you to follow the outstanding achievements of other Eagle Scouts across the country and help you stay informed about Scouting developments.
Eagle Scouts who are not yet NESA members can join at NESA.org. Member features at NESA.org enable you to use the Eagle alumni search tool, partake in discussion groups, and even have your own NESA e-mail address.
How can you help spread the word about membership? Print and distribute this new business card that describes to other Eagle Scouts how they can register at NESA.org and take advantage of its benefits. Better yet, personalize your card by filling out the information on the back so that you can keep in touch with your peers.
Print the cards at home or have them done professionally. NESA has great momentum from the 2010 National Scout Jamboree. Here is another way you can help spread the word about NESA membership.

The objective of the National Eagle Scout Association is to serve Eagle Scouts
and, through them, the entire movement of Scouting.

Eagle Scout Project Goes to the Dogs (and Cats)
Scott Krech wants to be a surgeon, so he was excited last year to do a surgery-related Eagle Scout leadership service project. He didn rsquo;t put anyone under the knife, however. Instead, he transformed a storage closet at the Animal House rescue shelter in Fort Collins, Colorado, into a surgical suite.

Leaving No Trace
Many Eagle Scout leadership service projects involve building something mdash;a nature trail, park benches, or a memorial garden, for instance. Aaron Edgel rsquo;s project took the opposite approach.
