The House of Representatives has impeached Mercidita Gutierrez, a first in Philippine history to impeach an Ombudsman.
After he was tried in the impeachment court, the Senate garnered more than the needed votes to impeach Gutierrez.

Nine days after Japan was devastated by a massive earthquake and tsunami, Miyagi Police Rescue team had a #8220;miracle rescue #8221; on an 80-year old woman and 16-year old youth (not yet sure if boy or girl) last Sunday under the rubble in the city of Ishimaki in northeast Japan.

Just earlier this week, Microsoft launched their newest browser, Internet Explorer 9, which was readily given a match by Mozilla via Firefox 4 which will be released on the 22nd of March.

After almost a month, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Liu Jianchao confirmed that the verdict to the 3 Filipino drug mules was still death penalty and that verdict was final. The thing there is that the execution was just delayed but we weren #8217;t able to change the decision of Chinese Supreme Court.
