She’s been on a constant rise to stardom for the past few years, and when it comes to style, Kristen Bell has her own unique flair.
The “Veronica Mars” actress explained, #8220;I tend to favor things that make me feel like I #8217;m playing a character. I gravitate toward vintage styles—equestrian, nautical. I #8217;ve been loving a blue-and-white-striped long-sleeve T-shirt since I was in high school because it makes me feel like Brigitte Bardot sunbathing on the French Riviera. #8221;
#8220;I like clothes that make me feel feminine as opposed to girly. If there #8217;s one too many ruffles or a little too much pink, I will look like I #8217;m going to my own christening. #8221;
Bell also has a similar take on her acting style. #8220;I was very up-front with [my agents] that, despite how I may appear, it was never my goal to be an ingénue. I always wanted to be a character actor. I wanted to be Catherine O #8217;Hara. I wanted to be Kathy Bates and Jennifer Coolidge. #8221;

Kristen Bell #8211; Teen Choice Awards 2010 Red Carpet!
Kristen Bell looks pretty and perky on the red carpet at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheater on Sunday (August in Universal City, Calif.
The 30-year-old recently help out on a PSA for Stand Up 2 Cancer. She was joined by Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Dakota Fanning, Zachary Levi, Olivia Munn and Naya Rivera.

Joined by a few friends for the outing, the #8220;When In Rome #8221; actress looked sassy in a short floral dress and sky high wedges as she trekked over to the filming locale.

Kristen Bell #8217;s $100,000 Birthday Wish Revealed
Kristen Bell is all smiles at a VIP cocktail party held at the Louis Vuitton store on Rodeo Drive on Tuesday (July 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The actress was accompanied by Twilight’s Xavier Samuel (with girlfriend Shermine Shahrivar), Plain Jane’s Louise Roe, Brittany Snow, and Mad Men’s January Jones (she’s dating SNL’s Jason Sudeikis).
Kristen turns the big 3-0 on Sunday (July 18) and her big birthday wish is to raise $100,000, which will directly fund clean water projects in developing nations. Every well built will be marked on Google Maps to provide proof of impact!
“A billion people in the world are living without clean water,” she wrote. “EFF THAT.”

David Mamet And Kristin Bell: Funn or Dier

Like David Mamet? Like adult films?
Well, for those of you who have been yearning for a mixture of the two, look no further than Funny Or Die to give you just that.
The video heavyweight has launched a new series of web videos, with the first one being penned and directed by the cinematic giant himself, David Mamet (Homicide, House of Games). It stars Kristin Bell and Ed O’Neill, who worked with Mamet on his film, Spartan, and is introduced by one of Mamet’s go to guys, Ricky Jay. It’s said to be a lost clip from a 1930’s porn and while it’s a little long and a little poorly paced for the average web video, it is a really fun little clip.
While this is just a little web video, anything that Mamet does is going to have me a little interested. I didn’t quite dig Redbelt like many did, but films like Homicide prove that he’s a really talented filmmaker. All in all, if you have a little over 6 minutes, definitely check this one out.
