ANOTHER PNP HOUSING PROJECT TO BE CONSTRUCTED
Another housing project will be launch for the benefit of PNP personnel assigned in the National Capital Region who do not own house and lot.The Philippine National Police and the National Housing Authority agreed to embark on the said project that will directly benefit police personnel who are renting houses in their respective area of assignment.
During the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Homecoming in Fort Del Pilar in Baguio City on February 19, 2011, President Benigno S. Aquino III in his speech, assured PNP and AFP personnel that the government will provide not less than 20,000 low-cost housing units for the members of the police and the military.
House model units are available in three categories; Rowhouse 36 sqm. can be availed at P175,000.00, Rowhouse 40 sqm. is pegged at P208,000.00 and the Rowhouse 46sqm at P248,000.00.
Monthly amortization ranges from P200.00 to P4, 022.00. NHA also recommended of a government subsidy of P25, 000.00 to P35, 000.00 per package subject for approval of the president.
