The Internet is a great resource to source leads. There are 2 ways to get motivated sellers to your site - Natural search, which are free leads, and Pay Per Click such as Google Adwords. In either case you need a website that works, let me explain
The traditional approach to buying a website is to pay £200-500 to a developer, that creates the website with 5-10 pages and then you just leave it. The amateur investor will then create an adwords campaign, compile a large selection of keywords and start spending money. The results will be poor, the investor will be disillusioned and Google will get richer and the investor will lose thousands of pounds.  This was John's experience when he first started - now he can generate leads for as little as 30p.
A professional Internet Marketer will make changes to the adverts and send the links to specifics pages. They will then test the webpage title, the offer, the copy of the advert, etc. Using a traditional website developer model, if you create a new page or make a change every day - which you should do, then you will be clocking up £20-30 worth of charges every day, resulting in a £500+ bill every month.
What seems like the cheap option - is in fact the VERY expensive option. Additionally, your website developer may not be able to make the changes you need within a 24 hour, or even 72 hour time frame. The online market place changes daily. You cannot do something and forget it. If your competition changes their campaign, then you have to respond. You have to react quickly.
If you are testing a headline, then you should be able to log in to your site, change the headline and logout in 10 minutes this. You have to improve your conversion. If you convert twice as many leads as your competition, then your leads cost you half as much. John's conversion ratio grew to 1 in 5 in the past.
