The Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross:
Providing relief to victims of disasters and helping people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
The 27th annual American Red Cross Book Fair at the Monroe County Fairgrounds September 30- October 5, 2010 will feature a selection of 80,000-100,000 gently used books, CDs, videos, DVDs, cassettes, records, games, puzzles, maps, sheet music, and many other items, all of which will be on sale at bargain prices. All proceeds benefit Red Cross programs in Monroe and Owen Counties in Southern Indiana.

Since 1917, the Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross has provided disaster relief, services to Armed Forces, emergency preparedness and lifesaving programs to Bloomington and the surrounding communities. Today we serve residents in both Monroe and neighboring Owen County 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Each year we train over 7,000 people in life-saving skills and respond to 30- 40 disasters. In emergencies large and small - house fires, earthquakes, floods - right here in our community or on distant shores, people can count on the Red Cross. Your generous donations of time, money and blood make our services possible. Thank you for your support.
